Maintenance and cleaning of solar panels
What you need to know about maintenance of your system.
Solar panels are generally low maintenance. However it is important that you take good care of your photovoltaic system to achieve optimal performance. A punctual cleaning with water and a brush once a year is enough to keep the panels working and in the best working conditions. If you discover any errors or irregularities, it is important that you notify us immediately. While we maintain the technical operation, you will be responsible for a few things that affect how much power you will get out of your system. For example, trees can grow a lot during the life of the system. If the tree growth begins to shade the roof, production will naturally be lower. Therefore, please cut and maintain the plants and trees surrounding the solar panels to get the most production and to avoid the risk of damage from twigs and branches. Finally, if snow accumulates on your roof, carefully and safely use a broom or a brush to sweep the snow off the panels. Do not use metal equipment, such as scrapers or shovels and always be cautious when working at great heights.
