We are not so worried about snow on the solar panels.
The panels are made of glass and slippery than ordinary roof tiles. The snow that settles on the roof during the winter will therefore slip off when the weather gets a little warmer. The very first snow that falls in early winter will melt and runoff, as the panels are warmer than the surroundings.
In January and February, the snow may settle on the panels. If there is a lot of snow on the roof, you can brush it off with a special broom. But it is not really necessary, because the sun quickly melts the snow and arranges it itself. Above all, we urge you to avoid walking on the roof, to prevent injuries. Instead, leave the snow for as long as possible. In any case, the snow will not make any difference to your annual production (possibly 1-2 percent with huge amounts of snow).
It is good that the snow does not come during the time of year when the sun has the greatest value for us with photovoltaic systems. We do not lose much productivity due to the snow, thanks to the panels having black or blue glass panels facing south.
